After hours of discussion and weeks of thought, we have made the tough decision to cancel the 2020 version of the Bear Claw Epic. Please understand, this was NOT an easy decision to arrive at. Given the uncertainty of the current health crisis, and the economic impact of it all on sponsors, we do not feel it is in the best interest and safety of our racers, volunteers, spectators, and sponsors to host the event this year. To those of you who have already signed up, we will reach out to you all in a separate email directly to discuss options for your registration.. While the race may be canceled, the outdoors aren’t closed, and neither is the Cadillac Pathway! We urge you to come and visit the Pathway and explore the rest of the trail that is out there. Check out our new Pavillion at the Seeley Road trailhead, bring your family, and enjoy hiking and biking the 10.1 miles of trail available. Even with the race on hold, we are still surging forward with our mission to fund, develop, and build 11 new miles of single track trail, which we hope to integrate into the race in the future. We hope that you will consider donating to the cause, and help bring us closer to our goal. We know that there will be a variety of thoughts and feelings about our decision to cancel, but please understand we are doing what we feel is best and fair for all involved in the planning and execution of this event. We appreciate your understanding in our decision and hope to see you NEXT year at the 2021 Bear Claw Epic on September 25, 2021!
